International Students and their families are very welcome at our school.
We are open to limited applications for Years 3-6 for the 2025 school year. However, we are not accepting enrolments for students in Years 1 and 2. Please contact the school if you are unsure what year level your child would be.
2025 Term dates:
- Term 1: Monday, 3 February - Friday, 11 April
- Term 2: Monday, 28 April - Friday, 27 June
- Term 3: Monday, 14 July - Friday, 19 September
- Term 4: Monday, 6 October - Wednesday, 17 December
We have a large number of ethnicities from all over the world. Our school grounds are large with big areas of grass and playground equipment to play on. Participation in school activities is encouraged. We have many opportunities for children to be involved in - language lessons, music, choir, sport and Kapa Haka, amongst many other things.
Children are placed in classes with their age group and enjoy a variety of activities. We are an enviro-school and participate in the Garden to Table programme plus many other events during the year.
Our school is next door to Cobham Intermediate and not far from Burnside High School. We are close to the city centre and all that Christchurch has to offer International students and their families.
International students receive extra support to settle into life in New Zealand and enjoy their stay at our school.
